What’s in the book
Inside, ten walks across four lengths — short morning loops, half-day rambles, the occasional full-day outing — each on its own pair of pages. A map drawn in the muted greys of a printed Ordnance Survey sheet, a few lines on what to expect underfoot, and an honest time estimate that allows for the climbs.
The first page picks one walk to start with — the gentlest, richest one from their door — so there is no decision to make on the first Saturday morning.
It is built fresh each time it’s printed. The paths come from OpenStreetMap. The pubs are checked against the FSA’s hygiene register. The time estimates are adjusted for ascent. A walking book that knows what is there this week, not what was there a decade ago.

Questions
Will it work for my friend’s address?
Anywhere in mainland Britain with a Royal Mail address. Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not yet supported.
How long does delivery take?
Printed and posted within seven working days — tracked Royal Mail to a UK mainland address. We’ll email a tracking link once it’s on its way.
What if there aren’t enough walks near them?
Some addresses have fewer walks within reach than others. Below three, the book doesn’t get printed and you aren’t charged. The cover reflects what is actually there, never an inflated count.
Are the walks safe?
Routes avoid motorways, A-roads and unsuitable surfaces. They are drawn live from OpenStreetMap; if an address has very few footpaths nearby, see above.
Can I gift-wrap it?
Gift wrap is coming soon. In the meantime, every order arrives in plain card-stiffened packaging suitable for posting on, and you can add a short personal message at checkout that travels with the order.
Is there a digital version?
Not currently. The product is the printed book — it is how it sits in someone’s house and gets used.
Returns?
The book is personalised to one address, so it cannot be returned once printed. If anything is wrong with the print quality, it will be replaced free.
